Subbareddy & Co.

We’ve been based here in Kantapur for a good while now. Most days it’s just us at Subbareddy & Co. handling whatever comes through the door. The office isn't much to look at if I’m being honest, but it works for what we do. You’ll find us tucked away where the roads get a bit narrow. We usually start pretty early before the sun gets too high because it can get quite warm in this part of town. It’s mostly just keeping track of things and making sure the paperwork doesn’t pile up too high on the desks. Sometimes the fans make a bit of a racket but you get used to it after a few hours. People from around the neighborhood stop by, and we know most of them by name now. It’s not a corporate setup with fancy glass walls or anything like that. We just have our old wooden chairs and a lot of files. There’s always someone drinking tea and talking about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just steady work day in and day out. We don’t really do much in the way of big events. We just keep the doors open and get the job done. If the power goes out, we just wait it out or find something else to do until it comes back on. That’s just how it is here. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just keeping the company running.
