Vivek General Store

You can find Vivek General Store at 119/44 in the Gumti No-5 area. We are right by G. T. Road and the 80 Feet Road intersection, which is probably one of the busiest spots in Kanpur. The traffic never seems to stop, and the sound of horns is something we have just gotten used to. Our shop is quite simple. We sell things that people need in a hurry, like pens, notebooks, small snacks, and basic toiletries. We do not have a big staff, just us family members taking turns to sit at the front. The shelves are wooden and a bit old now, but they hold everything just fine. Since we are on such a main road, we get a lot of travelers passing through along with the local residents. We open the shutters early to catch the morning crowd and do not close until late at night. It can get exhausting, but this is the life we chose. We do not use any fancy marketing tricks or try to act like a big supermarket. We are just a small general store at 119/44. Sometimes we run out of stock when the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic, but we usually have the basics. People stop by for a quick chat and to pick up what they need for their homes. It is a practical way to live, being right in the middle of all the action in Kanpur.
