Vipausi Radhakrishna Sevadham Foundation is over at 127/583 Vinoba Nagar in Kanpur. It’s a typical Kanpur neighborhood, which means it’s pretty lively and there is always something going on outside the window. Our office is just a regular building in the 127/583 block. We don't have any big flashy signs out front. If you weren't looking for the number, you might just walk past it. We’ve been here for a while now. The space is filled with the usual stuff—desks, some chairs for visitors, and lots of paper. We aren't a big corporate firm with a fancy lobby. We are just a local foundation. We do our work, talk to the people who come in, and try to keep things organized. Vinoba Nagar is a good place to be, it’s got a real community feel to it. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets noisy, but that’s just part of being in Kanpur. We don't really use all those marketing words people like these days. We just tell it like it is. We are here, we work hard, and we keep things simple. It’s a practical way to run a foundation. We’re just regular people in a regular office doing our daily tasks. There is usually a bit of dust on the shelves and the tea is always hot.
