Ddindia

Our business, Ddindia, is located at C-194 in Dayanand Colony. This is right in the middle of Lajpat Nagar, so you can imagine how crowded and busy it gets every single day. There is never a quiet moment with the traffic and the shoppers nearby. Our office is just a regular apartment space that we’ve turned into a work area. It is filled with boxes and samples of the products we handle. We don't have a big fancy showroom. Most of our work is done on the phone or sitting at the two desks we have squeezed into the main room. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving crates in and out. I’ve lived around this area for a long time, so I’m used to the madness of Lajpat Nagar. Parking is always a big problem, which can be frustrating when we have deliveries arriving. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants, but they are mostly covered in dust from the street. I drink a lot of tea from the guy downstairs who has a small stall. My desk is always covered in notebooks and pens because I like to write everything down by hand. It feels more real that way. The air conditioner is a bit loud, but it keeps us from melting in the summer heat. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just a few of us trying to keep things organized and making sure our customers get what they need. It’s a simple, honest life here.
