Rays Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is located at D-8 on Road No. 3 in the Panki Site 5 industrial area of Kanpur. This place is known as Udyog Kunj and it is a very busy spot for manufacturing. We have been here for a long time, working with polymer resins and making various plastic parts. The air in Panki is often thick with the smell of industry, and our factory is no different. We have several injection molding machines that run for most of the day. They make a lot of noise and generate quite a bit of heat, so we have big exhaust fans in the walls to keep the air moving. Our team is made up of local men who have been doing this kind of work for years. We don't have a fancy office or a polished lobby for visitors. When you come to see us, you’re likely to find us in our work clothes, covered in a bit of oil or dust. We spend a lot of time maintaining the equipment because it’s hard to get new parts quickly. We keep a stock of raw materials in the back corner, piled up in large sacks. Kanpur is a tough place to run a factory sometimes, with the heat and the power cuts, but we make it through every day.
