The Wall Designer

The Wall Designer is based in Keshav Nagar, specifically at H1 /128/109. It is a typical Kanpur neighborhood where everyone knows each other. We work out of this space and it is filled with buckets of paint and different rolls of wallpaper. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a door among many on the street. Inside, it is a bit of a mess because we are always testing out new colors or textures on the back walls. It can get a bit humid in here during the monsoon, which makes drying things a bit of a pain. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too hot. Keshav Nagar has its own rhythm, and we have become a part of it over the years. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving things around and checking on how the materials look in different lights. It is hard work and our clothes usually have a few spots of paint on them by the end of the day. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our day is spent talking to workers or showing samples to people who walk in. It is just a small local business trying to do things right in our own way. We like the area because it is central enough for us to reach most parts of the city without too much trouble.
