The Mind Power English Academy & Computer Institute

Our academy and computer institute is at 9, MIG in the Barra area of Kanpur. It’s basically a converted space in a residential part of the city. We have a few rooms set aside for the English classes and another room where we keep the computers. It’s not a large or modern facility, but it gets the job done for the people who live around here. We started this place because we saw a real need for it in the local community. We don't have any corporate backing or a big team of managers. It’s just us. The furniture is simple—just some benches and desks we’ve had for several years. Some of the computers can be a bit slow on certain days, but they are fine for learning the basics of how to use them. We don't have a fancy website or a dedicated marketing department. Most people find us because they live just a few streets away or they saw our sign while walking to the market. Barra is a busy place, and we are happy to be a small part of it. We have classes at different times of the day to fit into people's busy schedules. Sometimes we just sit and talk with the students about their day or their jobs. It’s a very relaxed and informal atmosphere. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just teach what we know and try to keep the place running smoothly for everyone who comes by.
