Thakur Provision Store

Thakur Provision Store has been sitting here on Hamirpur Road for quite some time now. We are at 127/25, S-Block in Kidwai Nagar, right near the Sai Mandir. It is a busy part of Kanpur, and you can always hear the temple bells or the noise from the Juhi Gaushala area nearby. We mostly deal in the basic stuff people need for their kitchens every day. Rice, pulses, spices, and the usual household things. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves for our customers. There is a specific way everything is stacked, though it might look like a bit of a mess to anyone else. I spend a lot of time just moving heavy sacks around or checking what is running low. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we see the same faces every week. Sometimes kids come in with a few coins for some candy after their school gets out. We do not do any advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here because of the location by the temple. The fan stays on, the ledger stays open on the desk, and we just keep going day after day. It is hard work being on your feet all day, but it is just how it is.
