Sunrise Chemical

Sunrise Chemical is tucked away at 328/1- D on Sir Iqbal Street in Jajmau. It’s a busy area and our place isn't very large, but we make it work. We spend our days mixing and handling various chemicals. It can be a bit messy, so we are always wearing our aprons and boots. The smell is something you get used to after a few days, though visitors usually notice it right away. We started this small business because there was a need for these supplies locally. We don't have a big corporate board or fancy meetings. Usually, it's just a few of us sitting around a wooden table talking about what needs to be delivered by Friday. We keep a lot of drums and containers stacked up along the walls. You have to be careful where you walk so you don't trip over a hose or a bucket. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because the street is so narrow and the trucks get stuck. We just go out and help them guide the way in. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes keeping everything organized in this space. We do our own labels by hand when we have to. It’s a local operation and we know most of the other shop owners on the street. We just try to keep the batches consistent and get the orders out to the customers who need them.
