Sugas Clinic

Down at 14/174 Naya Chowk, Sugas Clinic is right in the thick of things. Naya Chowk is always buzzing with people and noise, and we are just another door along the way. The clinic isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got the consultation area and a place for people to sit while they wait their turn. It gets pretty loud outside with the market nearby, so you can always hear the sounds of the street coming through. We don’t have any soundproofing or anything like that. It’s a real place for real people. Most of our visitors are from the immediate area. They come in for all sorts of things, and we do what we can to help them out. The hours can be long, and sometimes we stay open late if there are still people waiting. There’s no big corporate board or fancy slogans on the walls. It’s just a simple clinic where the lightbulbs sometimes flicker and the floor shows a bit of wear from all the feet walking over it. We like it this way because it feels honest. We know the local vendors and the families who have lived in Naya Chowk for generations. It’s a tight-knit spot, and being here feels like being part of the community fabric. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
