St. Catherine'S Hospital

You can find St. Catherine'S Hospital over on M. G Marg, right along Mall Road. We are pretty close to the Murray Company Bridge, which is how most people find us. The hospital is in a busy part of town, so there’s always the sound of traffic and horns outside. Inside, it’s a bit different. We try to keep a calm environment, even when the clinic is packed. The building at No. 63/8 is an older structure. It has high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of light during the day. We’ve had to fix the plumbing more times than I can count, but that’s part of being in an old building. The staff here is like a small family. We’ve worked together for a long time and we know how each other thinks. We don't use a lot of fancy medical jargon when talking to patients. We just explain things simply. The waiting area is usually full by ten in the morning. We have a few benches that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. We aren't a big corporate chain. We are just a local hospital trying to help the people in this neighborhood. Whether it’s a fever or something more complicated, we just take it as it comes. It’s a lot of long hours and missed lunches, but that’s the reality of working in health care here.
