Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn Ltd.

We are Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn Ltd., located over at 19/x-1 Krishna Puram. This neighborhood is mostly residential with some small businesses mixed in, so it’s a bit of a tight squeeze for some of the bigger trucks when they try to turn the corner. Our facility is where we handle the textile side of things. It smells like fabric and dust most of the time, which is just part of the job we do. We have a few machines that are pretty loud, so you have to speak up if you’re standing near them. The floors are concrete and usually have bits of thread and scrap fabric scattered around no matter how much we sweep at the end of the day. It’s not a place for suits and ties; we wear clothes we don’t mind getting dirty. We’ve got a small office area near the front with a couple of chairs, but most of the action happens in the back where the stock is kept on high shelves. We don’t have a lot of visitors, but when someone does stop by, we usually offer them a stool and some water. There’s a lot of checking and re-checking involved in what we do here. We have to make sure the counts are right and the material is exactly what was requested. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we’ve got a good group of people who don’t mind the effort. We just keep our heads down and try to get through the daily list of tasks at 19/x-1.
