Shri E S Tours & Travels is located up on the second floor of the Cham Housing Commerce Centre in Chunniganj. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve been here for a good while. 14/145 is the door number if you’re looking. Chunniganj is a busy part of Kanpur, and there’s always something happening outside our window. We spend our hours coordinating between different drivers and people who need to get to the airport or a wedding. It’s mostly just paperwork and phone calls. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how the business works. The office is a bit cramped with all the files we keep, but it’s home to us during the day. We aren't into all that corporate talk you hear these days. We just want to make sure the vehicles are in good shape and that they show up on time. Of course, with the way traffic is in this city, 'on time' can be a bit of a challenge, but we do what we can. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but that’s just Kanpur for you. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we don’t complain much. We just keep the books updated and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s honest work.
