The space is filled with the smell of old paper and occasionally some samosas someone brought in for lunch. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, mostly just calendars and site schedules. It’s a straightforward place where work happens. We focus on the building projects we have going on. Kanpur is a tough place for logistics sometimes, so we spend a lot of time on our phones. It’s not a corporate glass tower, just a regular office building where we try to get things right. Sometimes the electricity acts up, or the internet slows down, but we just keep going. It’s honest work. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know how each other works. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We build stuff and we make sure the supplies get where they need to go. It’s simple, really.
