Jagan Industries

Jagan Industries is located at No. G/17 in Shanti Nagar. It’s a small manufacturing unit where we put together various industrial parts. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have raw materials delivered. We’ve got a few lathes and some basic machinery that keep us busy from morning till evening. It’s not the quietest neighborhood, but Shanti Nagar has always been a place where people are making things. We don't have a reception desk or a lobby; you just walk in and you're right there where the work is happening. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of oil is pretty strong. We take on small contracts for local businesses that need specific parts made to order. It’s mostly manual work, measuring and cutting and checking everything twice. We’ve been running this place for a good while now. It’s just a handful of us who know how to run the machines and fix them when they break down. We don’t do any advertising; we just rely on the fact that people know we’re here in G/17. It’s a simple operation, really. We just try to get the orders done by the date we promised and keep the machines running. There’s no mystery to it, just regular shop work every day. Most of us eat lunch together right here on the shop floor before getting back to it.
