Shamimsons International

We are located at 14/23-A, Civil Lines, in a building that has seen better days but still holds up fine. Shamimsons International is a name that’s been around for quite a bit. Civil Lines is a quieter part of the city, with some old trees and wider roads, which makes it a nice place to work. Our office is old-fashioned. We still have heavy wooden desks and some filing cabinets that probably haven't been opened in ten years. We handle international trade, so there’s a lot of waiting for people in other countries to wake up and reply to our messages. It can be a slow process sometimes. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s a small team, and we all know each other well. We eat lunch together in the small back room most days. We don't have a mission statement or any of those modern business phrases. We just try to be honest with the people we deal with and hope they do the same. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s completely silent. We’ve learned to take things as they come. Being in an older area like Civil Lines keeps us grounded. We aren't chasing every new trend; we just stick to what has worked for us over the generations. It’s not fancy, but it’s our way of doing things.
