You can find our office at 275 in D-Block of Civil Lines. We are located quite close to the Mother and Child Hospital, which is a place almost everyone in this part of Kanpur knows. Civil Lines is a bit more spread out than other areas, so it does not feel quite as cramped as the inner city. We have been operating out of this specific office for many years. It is an older building, but it works fine for a travel business like ours. Most of our day is spent booking tickets or helping people make sense of the different bus and train schedules. It can get a bit repetitive sometimes, but we get to meet a lot of different people. Some are just passing through for work and others have been our regular customers since we first opened our doors. We have an old computer that is a little bit slow and a large metal cupboard full of files and old ledgers. We like to keep things very simple here. There is no corporate vibe at all, just us sitting around the office and talking to the people who come in. We know the hospital staff nearby quite well since they are our neighbors. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a crowd of people shows up at once, but mostly it is a steady pace. We take our lunch breaks late and usually have someone from the shop next door bring over some food.
