Ranjit Sarees

Ranjit Sarees is located at Flat No. 27 in Naveen Market. It’s a busy spot with lots of shops around us. Flat No. 27 isn't the biggest place in the world, but we make it work for what we need. We've been selling sarees here for a good amount of time now. People usually come in looking for stuff for weddings or maybe just something simple for daily wear. Most of our customers are ladies from around the neighborhood who have been shopping in Naveen Market for years. We keep things pretty simple. Sometimes it's actually hard to find us if you don't know the market layout well, but once you spot Flat 27, you're good. My family helps out with managing the stock and talking to people. We spend most of our day folding and then unfolding fabrics when someone wants to see a specific color. It gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic in the market, but that’s just how it is here. We don't have any fancy lights or big displays. Just enough to see the patterns properly. Naveen Market is always crowded on weekends. You have to navigate through the carts and other shoppers to get to our door. We stay open until late evening most days. If the power goes out, we just sit and wait or use a small light. It’s a small operation. Most regulars know what they want and we help them find it.
