Our shop is over at D-3/A in the Panki Industrial Estate. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly just rows of factories and small sheds. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for a while. Usually, the day starts pretty early when the first shift shows up. There is a small tea stall just a short walk away where everyone goes before the machines start up. Making components is mostly just about keeping your head down and watching the lathes. It gets dusty, and the floor always has a bit of oil on it no matter how much we sweep. We have some older machines that need a bit of a kick every now and then to keep going, but they do the job. The workspace is a bit cramped because we keep adding more storage racks for the raw materials. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and everything goes quiet for a minute, which is the only time you can actually hear yourself think. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. Most people just know where we are because we’ve been here in Panki for so long. The office is just a corner partitioned off with some plywood. It’s where the ledgers are kept. It’s a simple setup, really. Just people doing their work and trying to get home before the evening traffic gets too bad on the main road.
