P.K. Traders

Our office is tucked away at 111/149 in Hars Nagar. It’s a fairly quiet spot compared to the main market, but we still see a lot of movement. At P.K. Traders, the day usually begins with checking what stock arrived the night before and sorting out the ledger. The building isn't brand new, so there are a few cracks in the walls and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we’ve stopped noticing. Most of the space is filled with boxes and samples, leaving just enough room for a couple of desks and some stools for visitors. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in, find someone to talk to, and we get things moving. The neighborhood has changed over the years, with new shops opening up, but our little corner feels mostly the same. Lunch is usually something brought from home, eaten quickly between phone calls and dealing with suppliers. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for, but we manage. In the afternoons, when it gets a bit slower, we might stand out by the door for some fresh air and watch the delivery bikes go by. It’s not a complicated operation, just a regular trading business where we show up and do the work. By the time we lock up, the street lights are usually flickering on.
