Payal Fashion Boutique

Our boutique is down at Shop Lg13 in Radiance Town, Swaroop Nagar. It’s a lower ground shop, so it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice. We have a lot of clothes hanging up everywhere. It’s not a huge space, so we have to be clever with how we use it. We’ve got a small trial room tucked in the corner. Most of the day is spent folding things or showing different fabrics to whoever walks in. We get a lot of people from the apartments nearby. It’s a friendly place. Sometimes we have tea with the customers while they decide on a color. We don't have those fancy mannequins you see in the big malls. We just use what we have. Sometimes the delivery of new stock gets messed up, and we have to sort through piles of clothes on the floor. It’s a bit chaotic, but we find what we need eventually. We do some alterations too, so there’s usually a sewing machine humming in the back. The lighting in the shop is a bit bright, but it helps see the details. We aren't trying to be a high-end designer place. It’s just a local shop where people can find something they like. We stay open until the mall area starts to quiet down at night.
