We’ve been over here at A-4 Site-1 for quite some time now. Most of our days are spent just keeping the machines running so we can get these braids finished on time. It gets pretty loud in the workshop once everything is turned on, but you get used to it after a while. We handle a lot of different types of cord and braided materials. Most of the stuff we do isn’t flashy, but it’s the kind of thing people need for all sorts of practical uses. Sometimes it’s busy and we’re all rushing around to check the tension on the lines, and other days it’s just about keeping things clean and organized. The space isn't huge, but we make it work for what we need. It’s mostly just us focus on the work right in front of us. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the clicking of the bobbins. We try to keep a decent stock of the common sizes so people don't have to wait too long when they ask for something specific. Usually, one of us is around to answer the door or help load up a truck. There’s always a lot of thread around, and sometimes it gets a bit messy, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making things all day long. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy stuff, just regular braiding work for our regular customers.
