P K Events is located right in the middle of things at 19/2C Ram Narayan Bazaar on Mall Road. Kanpur is a busy city, and Mall Road is probably one of the busiest parts of it. Being here in the 208004 zip code means we are right where the action is. We’ve been running this event business from this spot for a while now. Our space isn’t huge, but it’s full of all the stuff we need to put a show together. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites across Kanpur. It’s hard work and the hours are usually all over the place. One day we might be working until 3 AM, and the next we’re up at dawn to load a truck. We don’t use any fancy systems, just our notebooks and a lot of lists. People in the bazaar know us, and we know them. It’s a community feel even though it’s a big city. We handle the logistics and the setup for various functions. Sometimes the traffic on Mall Road makes deliveries a bit of a challenge, but we’ve learned the shortcuts over the years. We just try to do an honest job and make sure everything is set up the way it was asked for. It’s simple enough when you don’t overcomplicate it. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay ahead of our schedule.
