You can find Neel Construction Links over at Basheer Estate in the Purwa Heeraman area of Kanpur. We are at 91/146, which is an old part of the city. If you know Kanpur, you know it’s a place that is always moving and always a bit dusty from all the work going on. Our office is right in the thick of it. We handle construction links, so we are constantly dealing with contractors, laborers, and material suppliers. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some old wooden desks, a few cupboards full of blueprints, and a lot of registers that we use to keep track of everything. It’s not a quiet place because there is always someone coming in to discuss a project or pick up a payment. We don't have any glossy brochures or a big marketing department. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have seen the buildings we’ve worked on. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. We focus more on what’s happening at the job sites than on how the office looks. In the summer, we keep the cooler running all day long just to stay sane. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we’ve been doing this for years. We just keep our word and get the construction tasks finished as best as we can.
