If you head down to the basement of 80 A. R. Tower, you will find us at Shop No. 4. This is in the Cooper Ganj area, right near the Humraj Complex. Being in a basement means we don't have windows, so we rely on some old fluorescent lights that hum a bit. The shop is quite small and it’s packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of items. We have to be very careful when we walk around so we don't knock anything over. The Beas Mandi area is right nearby, so there is always the sound of carts and people yelling. It’s a very traditional market area. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know most of the other shopkeepers in the tower. Our desk is buried under a lot of papers, but we somehow manage to find what we need. It’s not a polished or modern place by any means. There’s a bit of dampness on the walls sometimes when it rains heavily. We just deal with it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years. It’s a small, honest operation in a very busy part of the city. We hope to stay here for many more years because this place feels like home to us now.
