Muskaan Suits has been at Shop No. 148 and 149 in Naveen Market for a long time now. We occupy two shops right next to each other which helps because fabric takes up a lot of room. Mostly, it is just us here every morning around ten to open the shutters and sweep the floor. Naveen Market gets pretty busy by the afternoon so we try to get the heavy work done early. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just racks and shelves full of unstitched suits and different types of cotton and silk. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise but they keep the place cool enough for people to sit and look through the colors. We have seen the market change quite a bit over the years. Some shops closed and new ones opened but we just stayed put in these two units. People come in looking for something specific for a wedding or just a regular daily wear suit. We don't do much talking, mostly we just show the stock and let people decide for themselves. It gets a bit crowded during the festival season and then the tea guy from around the corner stays busy bringing us cups all day. We like being in this part of town because everyone knows everyone else. If you are looking for the shop, just find the main row in Naveen Market and we are right there. It is a simple life running a cloth shop but it keeps us busy and we get to see a lot of faces every single day.
