Century Equestrians

If you are looking for Century Equestrians, we are in unit 115/305. It’s a bit of a maze to find us the first time because of how the building is numbered. We spend our days surrounded by leather, buckles, and saddles. It’s a specific kind of work, and it’s what we know how to do. The smell of tanned leather is very strong when you first walk in, but I don’t even notice it anymore. We have a few sewing machines and a lot of hand tools for the leatherwork. My workbench is always covered in scraps and thread. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. It takes a lot of patience to get the stitching right on a saddle. Sometimes my fingers get sore from pulling the heavy thread through. We make stuff for horses, so everything has to be strong and hold up well. I usually spend my afternoons checking the quality of the leather hides we get in. If the leather isn't good, the whole piece will be junk. We don’t really have a fancy display area. Most of the stuff is just wrapped up and ready to be shipped out to customers who know our work. It is quiet in here mostly, except for the sound of the machines and the occasional radio playing in the background. It’s steady work, and we just keep our heads down and do it.
