Maheshwari Lehenga's

Maheshwari Lehenga's is located at No. 128/98 in Kidwai Nagar. We are right across from the Fourty Shop, and the Astha Guest House is very close by too. Our shop is where we keep all the bridal wear and heavy lehengas that we handle. It’s not a huge place, so it can get pretty crowded when a whole family comes in to pick out something for a wedding. We have big mirrors on the walls and some simple lighting to show off the colors of the fabrics. The street outside in Kidwai Nagar is always humming with noise, and there’s usually a lot of dust in the air from the passing cars. We spend a lot of our time folding and unfolding the long skirts and making sure the embroidery doesn't get snagged. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually tired by the end of the day. We don't have a fancy corporate structure. It’s just us working here, trying to keep the shelves organized. Sometimes the guest house visitors wander in just to see what we have. We don't mind the company. The sign above the door is a bit old, but it still shows our name clearly enough. We’ve been here for years, and most of the people in the neighborhood know us by now. It’s a simple, local business and we just take things one day at a time without much fuss.
