Magical Threads

You can find us at 429/h-2 in Kidwai Nagar. Magical Threads is what we call the shop. We deal in all sorts of thread and sewing supplies. It’s a small room really, filled with spools of every color you can think of. Sometimes it’s hard to keep it all organized because new stock keeps coming in. The shelves are a bit crooked because we put too much weight on them. We get a lot of local tailors coming in to buy their bulk supplies. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood, though the kids play cricket right outside the door in the evenings. We’ve been here for a good while and the neighbors all know us. I usually sit behind the small wooden desk near the front. There’s always a glass of tea sitting there getting cold. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the shop and the phone. People call to see if we have a certain yarn or cotton in stock. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles or torches to find what people need. It’s just a simple life here. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just provide the threads that people need for their work. It’s a bit messy at times with loose bits of string on the floor, but we sweep up at the end of the day.
