Magical Threads Overseas

Our office is located at A-42 49/62 in Nayaganj. Magical Threads Overseas is the name on the door. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you don’t know Nayaganj well. We handle stuff mostly for sending out to other places. There are lots of ledgers and stacks of paperwork on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and transport guys. It can get pretty stressful when a shipment is delayed or something goes missing in transit. The fans in the ceiling have a steady rhythm that you stop noticing after an hour. It’s not a fancy office with big windows, just a practical space where we get the work done. We have a small area for samples where we keep some of the threads we deal with. The walls are painted a pale yellow that’s started to peel in the corners. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going through the afternoon slump. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the logs for the week. It’s just a few of us here, and we’ve worked together for years. We know how the business goes, with its ups and downs. Nayaganj is always crowded, so leaving at the end of the day takes some time. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving.
