Maa Vaishno General Store

Maa Vaishno General Store is situated at 109/332 on R K Nagar Road here in Kanpur. A lot of people find us by looking for the Philips Service Centre nearby, as that is the biggest landmark on our street. We aren't a massive warehouse, just a decent-sized general store that tries to keep the essentials in stock for the local residents of R K Nagar. We carry things like soap, detergent, packaged snacks, and basic grocery items. The shop is usually run by just a couple of us, and we spend most of our day organizing the shelves or checking what needs to be ordered next. It is not a polished environment with fancy lighting; it is just a practical space where you can get what you need and go. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a bit, which causes a little bit of chaos, but that is just how things are in this part of the city. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly where everything is kept, so they often walk right to the shelf they need.
