Lexus Techno Graphics Pvt. Ltd. is based at 121-A in Dada Nagar. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there are a lot of workshops and small factories around us. Our place is pretty much the same as the others on the block. We have some heavy machinery for the graphics work and it can get quite loud when everything is running at once. We usually have the radio going to drown out the hum of the machines. The office part is just a partitioned corner with a couple of computers and a filing cabinet that won't lock properly. We don’t really get many walk-in customers because we mostly deal with other businesses. Most of the guys here have been with us for a few years, so we all know how the machines like to be handled. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a belt or cleaning out a printer head. It’s not the cleanest environment, but we get the job done. We have a small kettle for tea and we usually take turns bringing in snacks. Dada Nagar isn't the prettiest place, but it's where the work happens. We focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure the prints look okay. It’s a simple life, working with our hands and the machines every day. We don’t need anything fancier than that right now.
