Our office is tucked away in Adarsh Nagar, specifically at House No. 249-E, which is right behind the J K Colony in Kanpur. It’s a typical Uttar Pradesh neighborhood with a mix of homes and small businesses. We use this location as our base for the ECC division’s work in the region. The building is a simple two-story structure that we have been using for quite some time now. It’s not very modern, but it serves our purpose perfectly. Inside, you’ll find a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with a lot of paperwork because of all the different construction sites we manage. Site supervisors often stop by to hand in their reports or to discuss issues they are facing on the ground. It can get a bit hectic during the middle of the day. We have a small team here, and everyone knows what they need to do. We don’t really have any formal meetings; we just talk over our desks. The area can get a bit dusty and noisy, but that’s just part of living and working in Kanpur. We usually grab some snacks from the local market nearby when we need a break. Most of us have been here for years and we’re very used to the routine. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We are just a local office trying to keep the projects on track and the engineers busy.
