Kingston International

Kingston International is tucked away at 93/143 in Anwar Ganj, right on Phoolwali Gali. The name of the street translates to the lane of flowers, and you can definitely catch those scents in the air sometimes. It’s a narrow part of the city, and our building is one of those tall, thin ones that seem to be everywhere around here. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with different rooms for storage and desks. We do a lot of international trade work, which means we’re often on the phone at odd hours because of the time differences. There’s usually a pot of tea going in the back room to keep us alert. The walls are lined with boxes and shipping manifests. We don't have a reception desk or a fancy lobby; you just walk in and you’re right in the middle of everything. It’s a bit chaotic during the peak seasons, with people shouting out orders and checking lists. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. The street outside is always full of cycles and carts, so getting things in and out takes some effort. We’re just regular people trying to handle the logistics of moving goods from one place to another. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what keeps us going. We’ve been in Anwar Ganj long enough to feel like part of the bricks.
