B. K. Fragrences

Our small place is tucked away at No. 128/1057 in Y-Block, Kidwai Nagar. We deal in different scents and fragrances, mostly the kind people use every day or for special events. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell, obviously. It’s a mix of a hundred different things all at once. My family has been interested in this for a long time, so we ended up opening B. K. Fragrences to see if we could make a go of it. It’s not a big showroom with glass cases and bright lights. It’s more of a practical shop where we keep bottles and containers lined up on the shelves. We spend our time mixing things or pouring from larger jars into smaller ones for customers. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with the oils, but that’s part of it. Kidwai Nagar is a good area, and we get a lot of neighbors stopping by just to see what's new. We don't use any big words to describe what we sell. Either it smells good to you or it doesn't. We try to keep a decent variety so there is something for everyone who walks in. It’s a quiet way to earn a living, and we like being part of the block. If you’re walking through Y-Block, you’ll probably find us by following your nose or asking a neighbor where we are.
