Karim Exports

Our place is at 105/218 in Chamanganj, right across from the Shafiabad Masjid. It’s a very old part of the city, and it gets incredibly busy, especially during prayer times. You can hear the call to prayer clearly from our front door. Karim Exports has been in this spot for years. The building is old and the rooms are small, but it’s where we feel at home. There are always people walking by and the sound of rickshaws is constant. We do a lot of our work by hand, checking each item before it gets packed up. It's a tight squeeze in the office when we have new stock coming in. We don't have air conditioning, just some old fans that hum while we work. The walls have some cracks and the floor is worn down from all the walking, but it works for us. We know almost everyone on the street. It’s a community where everyone helps each other out. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool just to get some fresh air and chat with the neighbors. We don’t use any fancy software to track things, just old ledgers and a lot of memory. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here. We don’t rush unless we have to. It's about getting the quality right and making sure our name stands for something real in the neighborhood. Every Friday the street gets even more crowded, so we usually try to get our big shipments out earlier in the week.
