Kanpur Iron Foundry

Our foundry is at Plot No 117/H/287 on the Main Road in Pandu Nagar. One of the best ways to find us is to look for the Gurudwara nearby. It’s a landmark everyone knows. Being on the Main Road means we see everything that happens in the neighborhood. Kanpur Iron Foundry has been part of this landscape for quite a while. The work we do is heavy and often quite hot. That is the nature of a foundry, after all. You can usually smell the smoke or hear the clanging of metal if you are walking past. The building itself is sturdy because it has to be. We have piles of scrap and finished goods sitting around the plot. It might look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but there is a system to it. The staff here have been with us for years. We aren't big on formal uniforms or corporate handbooks. We just show up, do the work, and go home. During festivals, the area around the Gurudwara gets very crowded, which changes the whole vibe of the street. But on a regular Tuesday, it is just us and the iron. We don't bother with fancy slogans. The address is simple, the work is hard, and we are just glad to be a part of Pandu Nagar. It's a noisy life but it's ours and we are comfortable with the way we do things here on the main road.
