Kankariya Agency is located inside Rohan Market. We are very close to Govind Chauraha, which is a major crossing point in the area. Being in a market means there is never a quiet moment. From the time the shutters go up in the morning until we close at night, there are people moving everywhere. Our space is tucked in among other shops selling all sorts of things. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We deal with various agency tasks, which mostly involves a lot of phone calls and ledger work. The shop is small and every inch of wall space is used for something. We have an old desk where we sit and handle customers. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy when the market gets crowded, but we have a small fan that helps. We know all the other shopkeepers around us, and we often share tea or talk about the day's business. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a website that looks like a million bucks or any corporate slogans. We just focus on the people who come through the door and the orders we need to fill. Govind Chauraha is a landmark for a reason, and being right near it keeps us right in the middle of everything. It's just a normal, busy agency life for us.
