We've been at Site-III in Panki Industrial Area for a while now. Dealing with micro measurements isn't exactly easy work, but someone has to do it. The shop floor is usually pretty busy with people. It gets dusty outside sometimes because of the location, but inside we keep things as clean as possible for the instruments. Most of our days start with checking the logs from the night before. We make tools that other people use to check their own sizes and weights. It’s quiet work, mostly just people looking through lenses or adjusting very small parts. I remember when we first moved into K-35, the road wasn't even paved properly. Now there's more traffic and noise. We don't really do big ads or anything like that. People usually find us because they need a specific gauge or a meter fixed up. If you walk into our office, you’ll see some old folders and maybe a cup of tea sitting on a desk. We just try to get the numbers right every time. If a measurement is off, the whole part is useless. So we spend a lot of time double-checking things. It gets really hot in the summer here, the fans just move the warm air around, but the work goes on anyway. We’ve got a small team. Most of the guys have been here for years. They know the machines better than anyone else does. We aren't a big fancy corporation, just a bunch of people working with precision tools in Kanpur. It's honest work and it keeps us busy enough.
