KALAA TECHFAB LLP

Our place is out at Plot No. B 12 in the UPSIDC Industrial Area in Rooma. It’s a typical industrial zone, lots of dust and big trucks moving around. Kalaa Techfab is where we spend our long hours. We work with technical fabrics, which sounds more complicated than it actually feels when you’re doing it. It’s mostly just making sure the machines are running right and the quality isn’t dropping. Being in Rooma means we have enough space for the equipment, which is a plus. It gets hot in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there or anything. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out is decent. Sometimes we stay late because a shipment is behind, and that’s just part of the job. It’s not a glamorous lifestyle, working in an industrial plot. You get grease on your hands and the noise can get to you. But we like the routine of it. We started this because we knew the industry a bit and figured we could do it ourselves. Now we’re just here every morning at the same time. We don’t have a big marketing department. We just have the workshop and our tools. It works for us. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders as they come in, simple as that.
