Aum Collections

Aum Collections is tucked away at No. 55/4 in Kahoo Kothi. If you know the area, it’s pretty easy to find once you get onto the right street. We have a lot of different things packed into the shelves here. It’s a bit crowded sometimes because we keep getting new stock in and don't always have the space for it right away. We spend a lot of time folding things and putting them back where they belong after people look through them. It’s mostly just us here every day, waiting for the morning rush to start. The lighting inside could be better, but it does the job. We try to keep things tidy, though it gets messy when we're busy on the weekends. Customers usually come in looking for something specific, and we help them find it in the piles. It’s a local spot, so we see a lot of the same faces from around Kahoo Kothi. Some people have been coming here for years. We don't really do much advertising; people just walk in. The shop has been here a long time now. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time with the narrow road, but they manage. It's just a regular shop where we try to keep a good variety of items for everyone who stops by. We’re usually here until late evening. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles or torches to show people the items, which makes it an interesting shopping experience.
