Jl Rohatgi Memorial Eye Hospital sits right on GT Road in Sarvodaya Nagar. This is a very busy part of the city because GT Road is a major route. There is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks and buses passing by outside. Our hospital has been at this Sarvodaya Nagar location for a long time. It is a place dedicated to eye care, so we have a lot of specific equipment for that. The rooms are set up for testing vision and doing surgeries. We have a lot of benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. It is a functional building, not very modern but it gets the job done. The doctors and nurses are always on their feet. We see people from all walks of life who come in because they are having trouble seeing. The morning hours are usually the busiest when the sun is coming up and everyone arrives at once. We just try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait longer than they have to. GT Road is always loud, so you can hear the horns even when you are deep inside the building. We are just a local eye hospital trying to stay organized and help the people who walk through our doors. It is a lot of routine work, checking eyes and handing out prescriptions every single day of the week. We just keep on going.
