Janak Leather Products

We are based out of the Government Industrial Estate on Kalpi Road, specifically at 117/N/21Ka. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly factories and workshops. Janak Leather Products is one of those places where you’ll always find someone busy with something. The air usually smells a bit like leather and polish, which I guess we’ve just gotten used to over the years. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, what with all the scraps and tools lying around, but we know where everything is. My father started this whole thing and I just kind of took over when it was time. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decor because that’s not what we’re about. We’re about getting the leather ready and making sure it looks right before it goes out. The industrial estate can be a bit dusty and the roads aren't always great, especially when it rains. But it’s where all the action is. Most of the guys working here have been with us for a long time, so we’re more like a family than anything else. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. We just focus on the leather and let the work speak for itself. It’s a tough environment sometimes, especially in the heat, but we just keep going day after day. It's how we've always done things here on Kalpi Road for as long as I remember.
