Jamal International

We operate out of 2 A Angoori Bagh, right in the middle of K. D. A Colony. Jajmau is a busy place, always something moving. At Jamal International, we focus on what we know, which is mostly export goods and local trade. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but it works for us. We have a lot of storage space for the materials. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of noise from the street. We try to get the heavy lifting done before it gets too hot in the afternoon. It’s mostly family here, plus a few guys from the neighborhood who have been with us for years. We aren't fancy. We wear old clothes because the work is dusty. We deal with leather mostly, given where we are. You can smell it the moment you walk in the door. Sometimes the shipments take forever to get cleared, and we just have to be patient. We’ve had some good years and some slow ones. That’s just business in Jajmau. We don't spend money on big signs or shiny floors. We’d rather just get the orders right and keep our customers coming back. It's a simple setup at Angoori Bagh. If you need us, we're usually there until late evening, making sure everything is packed and ready for the trucks. It’s a hard way to earn, but it’s our way of doing things. My son will take over one day, I think.
