Mahindra Enterprises

Our place is at Plot No. 157 in Nai Basti, Raidas Vihar, Jajmau. It is an industrial patch of the city. Mahindra Enterprises is where we do our daily business. The plot is a decent size, enough for our materials and the small building we work out of. Jajmau is known for being a hardworking area, and we fit right in. The dust from the unpaved parts of the road settles on everything, so we are always wiping down the desks. It is a simple setup. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. It is just us managing the day-to-day tasks. We have a few workers who have been with us since the start. We usually have lunch together in the shade when it is hot. The building is functional—four walls and a roof that occasionally leaks when the monsoon hits hard. We just put a bucket under it and keep going. We deal with various enterprise tasks, mostly moving goods or basic assembly. There is nothing flashy about Plot 157. It is just a patch of land where we work hard and try to make a living. People know us in Raidas Vihar as the guys who are always there from dawn till dusk. We do not ask for much, just a fair day’s work.
