J.S. International

J.S. International is based over in Civil Lines, at 16/80-1. This area has a bit more space than the crowded markets, which we like. Our office is a converted part of an older building, so it has high ceilings and thick walls that stay relatively cool. We’ve filled the rooms with desks, filing cabinets, and some crates that are ready to be moved. It’s a quiet enough place to get things done without too many distractions. We usually start the day by going through the mail and the emails to see what needs the most attention. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here; we all just pitch in where it’s needed. Sometimes that means someone who usually handles the books is helping out with the packing. The furniture is a bit worn out, but it’s comfortable. We have a small area in the back where we can sit for a few minutes and have a break. We don't bother with a lot of advertising or flashy signs out front. People who need to find us usually know the way. It’s a steady kind of work, dealing with international bits and pieces from this little corner of Civil Lines. We keep our records in order and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s just a group of people working together to keep the business running smoothly every day.
