India Braids Pvt. Ltd. is located over at A-4 in the Panki Industrial Area, Site-1. If you know Kanpur at all, you know Panki is where a lot of the heavy lifting happens. We’ve been at this spot for a good while, and the building has seen plenty of work over the years. It’s not the newest place on the block, but it works for us. Inside, you’ll find the machines running and the team just doing what they need to do. We don't go in for anything fancy or complicated. It’s just an industrial unit where we focus on braids. The neighborhood is mostly other factories and workshops, so it’s a lot of trucks and workers moving around starting early in the morning. Sometimes the power goes out or the road gets a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just part of being in Panki. We keep the machines maintained and the floors swept as best we can. It’s a practical environment for a practical business. We don't spend much time worrying about how the front office looks to outsiders, we’re more concerned with what’s going on out on the floor.
