Shree Fabrics

Shree Fabrics is located at 13/2 Nankari, which is right near the IIT in Kalyanpur. Being so close to the institute means there’s always a lot of students and staff moving around. We have a lot of different fabrics stacked up in our space. Sometimes it’s hard to find the exact one you’re looking for because we have so much, but we usually know where everything is. We’ve been in Nankari for a long time. It’s a local spot where people come when they need cloth for clothes or home stuff. The shop isn't very big, and the lighting could be better, but we like it. We spend our time measuring out lengths of fabric and cutting them for people. Our scissors are always sharp because we use them all day. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here by the IIT gate. We talk to the regulars about their families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s a friendly place. We aren't trying to be a big fashion house. We just provide the materials people need. Sometimes we get new shipments in and the whole place smells like fresh cotton. It’s a good smell. We’re just a small fabric shop in Kalyanpur doing our thing every day, one customer at a time. We keep the rolls of cloth neat as best we can.
