Pragati Enterprises

We are located at 77/14 in Collie Bazar, right near the fire brigade station. You can hear the sirens whenever they head out for a call, which happens more often than you would think. The bazaar is a very cramped place with narrow lanes and lots of people moving around. Pragati Enterprises is our small business where we deal in various goods. The building is quite old and has high ceilings, but the rooms are narrow. We have some heavy wooden shelves that are packed with our inventory. It is often a bit dark inside, so we have to keep the tube lights on even during the day. We spend most of the morning unloading stuff and getting ready for the day's walk-ins. There is a lot of shouting and noise from the other shops nearby, which is just part of the bazaar life. We have a small wooden stool for customers to sit on if they have to wait for us to find something in the back. It’s not a polished environment by any means. There are stains on the walls and the floor is uneven. We handle all the paperwork ourselves at a small metal desk in the corner. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic in the narrow streets, and we just have to wait it out. We have been in this location for years and know all the other shopkeepers around us. It is hard work but it keeps us going.
