Hamdam Export

Over here in Panki, we have our other Hamdam Export location at 19/31 on the ground floor of New Colony. This area is a bit more active than our Pokharpur spot, with more small businesses and shops nearby. The ground floor space is convenient because we don't have to lug heavy boxes up any stairs, which our backs definitely appreciate. New Colony is a busy place, and there’s always something going on right outside our door. The office is a bit plain, with just the essential furniture and a lot of shelving for our samples. We keep a small stove in the back to make tea and sometimes heat up our lunch. It's not a place for fancy meetings; it's a place where we actually get the hands-on work done. The light isn't the best in the back rooms, so we have to use some extra lamps when we are inspecting the goods. We’ve found that being in Panki makes it easier for some of our local partners to reach us without going across town. The atmosphere is pretty straightforward and no-nonsense. We show up, check what needs to be shipped, and stay until the job is done. There’s a certain comfort in the routine of the colony, and we’ve made some good friends among the other shop owners on this block. We've been at this for several years now, and the people around here treat us like neighbors rather than just another business on the street.
